Director of Industry Partner Development

The Senior Dining Association (SDA) is the only dedicated association providing resources, education, and networking opportunities for foodservice and hospitality for the senior living industry.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Industry Partner Development to lead SDA’s growth to help meet and exceed the association's revenue goals. This includes a focus on sourcing, acquiring, and managing new SDA sponsors and growing current relationships. This director will work closely with the CEO to help source areas of new business and develop customized programs. This position will prospect for new relationships and build the SDA’s visibility, impact, and financial resources while providing reciprocal value for our prospective members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently develop a sales pipeline to support business goals
  • Acquire new association sponsors, industry partners, and revenue opportunities through ongoing prospecting and sales outreach.
  •  Develop new deliverables to increase the association’s sponsor offerings
  •  Maintain expertise on SDA’s products and services and the markets in which SDA supports.
  • Track prospects and sales activity to support sales forecasting and sales growth.
  • Contribute to sales collateral and marketing campaign development to effectively promote the association’s value to both members and non-members.
  • Understands the business and marketing challenges of key prospects
  • Responsible for creating and coordinating client presentations
  • Manage and develop CRM to track customers and sales pipeline
  • Oversees, manages, and develops responses to requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Organizes, directs, and makes physical arrangements for presentations
  • Attends trade shows and conferences as appropriate
  • Contribute to the development of association strategy
  • Works on or may lead highly complex projects of large scope
  •  Oversees Industry partner committee

  • Ability to act as a team player and be flexible to respond to changing needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence and engage a wide range of prospects to build long-term relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts.
  • Ability to travel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
